I think the narrator had a very nice voice and is probably a nice person irl, but for the life of me I have absolutely zero clue why she would feel the need to set herself up for failure so certainly. with that accent she could dominate as a voice actor and in sure nail any audiobook in her native language, but in this instance, as far as an reading in English, it's just to much work to understand wtf she is saying, and my parents barely speak English with heavy Vietnamese accents, so I'm pretty good at translating broken English, or in this narrators case, a heavy accent. It is what it is, and if you're wondering why a Jules verne book is rocking a 3 star review, this is what it is.
