Unabridged Audiobook
New to me authors..... I did not know the previous series about the rival cartels. But now I want to! This ended on a cliffhanger that I can not get out of my brain. Santi and Talia don't know that they have met before! They don't know why they are drawn to one another when they have been raised to hate the other. He catches her counting cards in his casino, gets information and then blackmails her into marrying him to get back at her family. He doesn't realize that he is going to fall for her in the process and not want to let her go. The sexual tension was superb! The suspense and thought provoking storyline was FANTASTIC! The angst of the heartbreak hit me right in the gut! This story was ON POINT! And now I need to get the other half of it before my brain goes haywire trying to figure it all out! The narration was SO good! I really bought into the feelings they portrayed and the changing of the accents was done well. (I am not an accent expert, but I thought they sounded pretty good and were used when they were supposed to be)
