Unabridged Audiobook
Love the narrator. Gabriel Fox Morrison is a handsome proud gay man. After serving in US Army he decided to work in lgbtq-friendly space - Stonewall Investigations. Now he has a complicated drug case to solve and a new beautiful intern to guide. Jonah Brightly is a straight guy who was shot in a head a year ago, and it took him a lot of time and effort to get his injured body under control. Jonah found himself in a catastrophically bad relationship with a girl who never cared for him, even when he needed her the most. After meeting Brightly for interview Fox immediately falls for Jonah’s good looks, and has to remind himself over and over again that the young man in question is straight and his future college. But as it turns out it’s very difficult to stay away emotionally from such an easygoing person as his intern. They started with cautious questions about each other, probing and testing new waters, but very soon it escalated into a very drunk and “heated” conversation and the rest is history. Good happily-ever-after story full of joy and love. In the end of the book Max Walker gives you a small detail of a possibly new investigation case, so you are hooked and want to read second book in these series.
Definitely hot the narrator is one of my favorites so he did a great job.
The story was OK, the way the case played out was unexpected. There was a bit too much false doubt in the relationship but I was on their side to make it.
not too bad
