Summary
Like Adam Silvera's They Both Die at the End and Colleen Hoover's It Ends with Us, Before I Fall raises thought-provoking questions about love, death, and how one person's life can affect so many others. With this stunning debut novel, New York Times bestselling author Lauren Oliver emerged as one of today's foremost authors of young adult fiction.

For popular high school senior Samantha Kingston, February 12—'Cupid Day'—should be one big party, a day of valentines and roses and the privileges that come with being at the top of the social pyramid. And it is…until she dies in a terrible accident that night.

However, she still wakes up the next morning. In fact, Sam lives the last day of her life seven times, until she realizes that by making even the slightest changes, she may hold more power than she ever imagined.

Before I Fall is now a major motion picture Zoey Deutch, Halston Sage, and Kian Lawley. Named to numerous state reading lists, the novel was also recognized as a Best Book of the Year by Amazon, Barnes & Noble, The Daily Beast, NPR, and Publishers Weekly.

This story written by Oliver is quite gripping. Right off you know what the end will be but the journey to it is what holds you. However, it's the narration by Sara Drew that really made the book come to life for me. Her renditions of the characters was so fabulous that I would know who was speaking before she even said "X says". The only some what negative comment I could make is that the book could have been cut down by a day (if you "read" it, you know what I mean") but even still, I would highly recommend Oliver's book as a wonderful read. I will also look for other books narrated by Drew.

I love this story. Great writing The story had me riveted until the end. The narrator of this book however was absolutely horrendous. Might be top five worst narrators I have ever heard. It’s so bad maybe just go see the movie.

Couldn't stop listening. The narrator's voice was a bit annoying, but overall a very enjoyable listen.

I'm gonna start with I thoroughly enjoyed this book, so much I listened to it twice back to back, however I was so disappointed with the end. I'm not sure if I was expecting more or less just really hollowed out by the end. The narration was amazing, really made the audio sensational!! I can't wait to watch the movie and compare!

listening to the first days of her adventure was a bit hard for me because it was a bit too much immature teenager blabla and so I sometimes found myself thinking about something else, missing whatever they did at that moment. but then it got really interesting.was a bit disappointed at the end though.

The story itself, is filled with unimaginable detail and has numerous hilarious aspects. Sarah Drew did an amazing job narating this book and it really comes alive though I do not suggest this book for anyone under 12, it is definitely a Great book for teens.

This book kept my attention until the last words, it is exciting and intense. The narrator is great as she changed her voice for different characters. Each time you think you know what's going to happen you are wrong, it will surprise you every time. I would recommend this book and this author over and over again.

True paradigm with perfect belabor of teenage thinking with a borderline adulthood kicking into the characters defined their personality very well.

Alright, so I'm just gonna begin by saying this book is wayyyyy longer than it needed to be. The chapters dragged on forever and I absolutely am disappointed with the ending. While listening I seriously felt like I was the backseat driver of my years in high school. The woman reading, her voice with the changing of characters was quite interesting. Not one of my favorites.

I freaking love this book. Listening to the narrator I actually felt like I was part of the story. I haven't gotten to the me yet but definitely feel like tears will be involved. The author is so good too, she is very good at gripping the reader with description and keeping it interesting. I will definitely read more Lauren Oliver Books!
