Summary
Emma Gordon escapes from a troubling marriage in which she has completely lost sight of who she is. Desperate for independence, she leaves her husband while on a trip in the Scottish Highlands. The only thing is, she ends up hurled back in time to the sixteenth-century Castle Gealach.

Laird Logan Grant is tormented by a dark past and harbors a secret that could tear his country apart. Unable to resist Emma's beauty and the calm that she invokes, Logan confesses he desires her. Despite her own reservations, Emma longs to get close to Logan, even while she is desperate to return to her own era. In the end, she embarks on a daring, passionate affair that rocks her to the very core.

Good story and series but sex is way too explicit and pornographic. I enjoy steamy scenes but tone it down and you’ll get 5stars

I don’t usually care for time travel books, but this was good

Time travel, a hot Scotsman and a historical setting? Yes please! I was never a fan of the Outlander books, but this gives you a similar plot with better writing. The story moves quickly and the characters are nicely developed. Both Emma and Logan are very likeable. Note there are a LOT of sex scenes and they are all pretty hot, but don't pick this up unless you're ready for that. I can't wait to read the others in the trilogy. Narrator is FANTASTIC in both voices.

This book had a good story but was washed out by way too much sex description. A good historial is best when there is an even amount of sex and story. I was extremely disappointed.
