Summary
An Epic of Two Worlds

In a world as rich and real as our own, Richard Rahl and Kahlan Amnell stand against the ancient forces which besiege the New World-- forces so terrible that when last they threatened, they could only be withstood by sealing off the Old World from whence they came. Now the barrier has been breached, and the New World is again beset by their evil power.

War and treachery plague the world, and only Richard and Kahlan can save it from an armageddon of unimaginable savagery and destruction.

In Blood of the Fold, Terry Goodkind, author of the brilliant bestsellers Wizard's First Rule and Stone of Tears, has created his most masterful epic yet, a sumptuous feast of magic and excitement replete with the wonders of his unique fantasy vision.
Reviews

Loving every minute of this series, only criticism I have is each book has a different narrator which takes some getting use to .

Enjoyed this narrator much more than the last one. Why do they keep changing them? Are they different for every book? That's not cool. I enjoy this series immensely. Good book good narration.

I'm really enjoying this series as a whole so far, it is a bit jarring for different narrator's and their different pronunciation of names of main characters, but that's my only complaint really, I love the grittynes of the series and not hiding from certain subjects. great story overall

For me, these are when the books start getting to be fun. it starts paying off the setup of previous books while still letting an audience know that more expansion is coming. As it stands, the idea of a pragmatic solution being the one that the world follows is a great moral, and the wizard rules are now getting to be more fun and involved in such a way that you can mix the rules together to better help see into the mind of the author and applying them to your own life however you want. If you're this far in, there's definitely no point in stopping now.

I loved it!!! This story was even better than the previous ones! I’m getting addicted to it and can’t think about what I’m going to do when I’ve read all of them! The author has a very creative mind and apparently no end to inventing perils and dangerous adventures to the characters!

The blood of the fold was a good book for explaining Richard's powers. You know he's special from the other books but this one really exemplified his uniqueness.

The book is good but the narrator does not pronounce the names right.

This is a good book, the third in the series of (currently) ten. If you like this genre, this is a good example (perhaps a little darker than average), but you will probably find yourself reading the whole series ...
