Unabridged Audiobook
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I’m a big fan of the concepts presented although I am new to Adlerian theory and Psychology. I will delve deeper into the concepts presented in this wonderful book!

First of all if you didn't enjoy reading Socrates in your Philosophy 101 class, you will hate this book. It is written as a dialogue between a philosopher and a young man who questions him. I was horrified when the philosopher clearly admits he is no psychologist, but then uses founders of the field to deny things like the impact of trauma. The ideas presented here detrimental to those trying to heal from trauma. If I could give this book a zero, I would.
Wonderful read
I enjoyed the dialogue format of the book, it was very easy to grasp it
The last 2 hours weren’t particularly exciting but the first 6 hours really had some great content! I took notes and as a recovering people pleaser, it was very applicable to some of the things that I want to adjust.
Congruent, relatable, inspiring
The Courage to be Disliked is a life changing experience. As with all self improvement concepts, once you embark on the journey, the universe tests you. I can say from experience that these truths hold firm when you apply them to your own life. If you enjoy philosophy and unlocking human behavior, you will love this book!
