Summary
No one survived the last battle unscathed. Flint is angry at the world, Jaxon is turning into something I don't recognize, and Hudson has put up a wall I'm not sure I'll ever break through.

Now war is coming, and we're not ready. We're going to need an army to have any hope of winning. But first, there are questions about my ancestors that need answers. Answers that might just reveal who the real monster is among us.

And that's saying something in a world filled with bloodthirsty vampires, immortal gargoyles, and an ancient battle between two gods.

There's no guarantee that anyone will be left standing when the dust settles, but if we want to save this world, I have no choice. I'll have to embrace every part of me . . . even the parts I fear the most.

I tried to like it....but to many things do not add up. To many repetitive sayings and information that we as a reader have already be told numerous time in the book. As one of them (I get it) which the author goes over ther information again. But saying (I get it) so you are reading AGAIN drawn out information. I listen to the three before this one and I was dreading it...don't ask me why I listen to this one too but I think it was isome how thought it might get better.....uuummm not really. The narrator was 5 stars thou

On book 4 and still enjoy the series so much I am listening back to back. However I hate when a narrator changes the pronunciation of a character’s name, especially when they have done every other book before hand. I understand some names are hard but pick one pronunciation and use it the entire time.

Loved it… hoping that there’s an “As Queen” to follow.

This one didn’t model healthy relationships and communication as much as the others which was disappointing since it’s one of my favorite parts of the rest of the series - but I guess the characters were all basically in the throes of trauma so they wouldn’t be at their best and it’s at least understandable. There was a scene where Grace basically manipulates, then coerces Hudson though and I’d like to point out that regardless of the gender doing the coercing it’s not okay and I wasn’t sure I wanted to keep reading after that. It never gets directly addressed either :/ Other than that, solid read. Though if you’re looking for a cute YA fantasy this particular installment ain’t it. If you’re not in a good place to cry your way through a lot of chapters maybe wait a bit to read.

WOW! Tracy never ceases to amaze me! 'Court' had everything I dreamed it would be, and then some! The entire book is packed with action with our favorite entourage of paranormal beings! Love, Passion, Growth, Secrets, Betrayal, Loss, and SO much more! (Sorry! NO Spoilers, Here!) 'Court' hands down was an amazing read/listen. Heather Costa and Tim Paige made Grace and Hudson come alive for me; their voice acting skills were stupendous! Now! it's time to wait for 'Charm' and shortly later, 'Cherish' to see what Tracy has in store for the final installment of the Crave series.
