Unabridged Audiobook
I just couldn’t get interested in the story. Long monologues with no action and a plot uncompelling. Few dialogues and I quit listening after about 2 hours, which is very rare for me
I have a better one. My Grand daughters have been helpful writing a book of whimsical drive. But I have to run it by someone else.
Decent story but missing the drama & page turning appeal of Jonathan 's Alex Delaware & Milo Sturgis series. Dragged a bit. Main character is a bit forgettable. Also reminds me very much of Harlan Cobens Myron character-- both nice guys with few flaws, both basketball stars that had career ending knee injuries and became investigators, both have parents that play a role in their stories. Narrator did a good job. If you want to listen to a quiet mystery without too much violence or gore -- that won't keep you awake at night-- this is a nice story.
I enjoyed this novel. I could hear both voices. I've always enjoyed Jonathan's books and I'm glad that I can look forward to reading Jessie's next book
