Cruel and Unusual

Fan of this series. Really like how Patricia Cornwell does extended research in her topics before she writes. Narrator is ok.

"Cruel and Unusual" is where the Kay Scarpetta novels start to hit their grove. Kay's boyfriend is gone, and Lucy and Benton are on board. I had no idea that Marino's heart condition is mentioned so early in the series. It's a good book.

I agree with other review. Would give it 3.75 as there is a lot of build up and don't get answers until the epilog. Narrator is fantastic.

Not the best in the series so far but still a good read.

I loved it. I wish I could get her entire series on audio.

I felt it was built up too much for what it was not a fan.
