Unabridged Audiobook
an incredible piece capturing the cultural aspects of the early 20's society, both queer and not. The story dredges up old wounds, pours salt in them and bandages them up neatly with dark comedy. I have never felt my life so well reflected in the drama of this tale.
Everyone should read this book. Not just is it a good and beautifully written story, but it is full of insight and recognition of important parts of our society from a perspective that is often overheard.
excellent writing, especially if you are a trans woman. it's really refreshing to hear a narrative like this.
