Didn't absolutely love it, but it was good.

Excellent book. I couldn’t stop listening. It was even more interesting since it was about a real person.

Loved this book.

Enjoyed it a lot, was a 5-star until the end, which seemed rather hastily wrapped up and left a couple major issues unaddressed. Still, I recommend it and good narration, especially the female parts.

An excellent book. I enjoyed how closely the author followed the history.

This was very interesting, the fact that this actually happen makes the story even more amazing. This part of history is rarely told.

Fascinating, and made even more so by the fact that so much of it is true. But it felt like it dragged at times.

It just didn’t work for me. More a love story than a historical novel. Ms Quinn has a great following and this was the first of her books I’ve read.

Kate Quinn never disappoints me. I’ve looked forward to every one. Excellent story.

Loved this book! The narrator was perfect!

Fact weaved with fiction to make an extremely interesting and educational story. There are authors notes at the end to explain the truths within the novel and the poetic licenses taken. A tribute to woman of the war, and refreshing to hear it from a Russian perspective. I recommend this novel, and will search for more by this author. Really well read.

Exceptional story- all the more so because it was true. It gave me a much more nuanced view of history, women's enduring fight for equality, and warfare. The narrator was fantastic. I could not put it down. I listened in every spare moment, and a lot of moments that I really didn't have to spare.

Surprise! Awesome book. I listen to books all the time. I love to hear a story and boy what a story this is. Gets you right from the beginning and holds you right through the authors notes. Narrator was top notch! Must listen/read!
