The Dog Who Knew Too Much I love private detective stories. Many are serious dives into the realm of the mystery/thriller genre. Spencer Quinn goes in another direction. There is a case to be solved (the mystery) and the way Bertie and Chet go about solving it (the story). As mysteries go, this book is not a real heavy hitter. But, from the standpoint of entertainment, you can’t beat a story told from the point of view of the dog (Chet). There are plenty of plot twists and misdirection provided by the canine partner in this crime solving team. I’ve got to say that I stumbled upon this series by accident in “Dog On It” and it was so delightfully engaging that I just kept going back for more. “The Dog Who Knew Too Much” is the forth volume in the Chet and Bernie series and it’s a real hit with me.

A very light and funny story for those that loves dogs and mysteries. Great distraction for a long drive.
