Elderberry Croft: June Melody: When the Heart Sings

It's June in Southern California and spring is stretching languidly into the long, sultry days of summer.

Myra spends her days - and nights - caring for all the needy folks she's taken under her wings, the oddballs and misfits who call The Coach House Trailer Park home. She does their laundry, feeds their pets, waters their plants, and fetches their mail, even when they don't necessarily need her to do so. It's what she does best, though. Myra Espinosa needs to be needed.

But a fateful encounter with one particularly unsuspecting neighbor ends with Myra flat on her back... and she's about to discover that being needed is not the same thing as being loved.
