Unabridged Audiobook
The protagonist comes across as a little too smug and I really didn't care for him or any of the other characters by the end of the book. Rushdie is an immensely gifted writer however he overdoes his intellect when he goes on and on referencing writers, poets, directors..etc. ad nauseum. The Satanic Versus was so brilliant that maybe anything else is a bit of a let down. This book felt a bit like a soap opera with little nuance.
