Not given to reading books written in this era...I did find it interesting reading and entertaining. Not that I would seek out others of this time frame, but I did rather enjoy this read. It was good to read about sisters and sister n laws sticking together, and supporting each other. Brothers as well, but I did find the "sisters/wives" comical and entertaining.

This was hands down the worst book I have ever rented. Don't get me wrong, I love romances, but this was idiotic. I could not identify nor sympathize with the hero or heroine. They were annoying and purposefully either stupid ot too egotisitcal to even want to like. I have never been a big fan of Catherine Coulter and this reminded me of why.
