Unabridged Audiobook
Nice audiobook. I suppose this is not about great characters or interesting plots, but about useful situations of daily life. There are very useful exercises and helpful vocabulary. A nice piece for improving my german.
The interesting and entertaining stories in this work are very well thought out and set out, it seems to me. Just the right amount of repetition and a clear translation printed with each one story. My only trouble is getting the sound to work when I want it to as it doesn't seem straightforward, but perhaps with some tuition I can have that too.
I recommend this audiobook to anyone trying to improve their German!
These stories are wonderful! I had recently finished my German course. It took me 4 years! You might guess that working so slowly through the course, I had only a basic understanding of the language. I followed the author’s instructions and listened to each story, then checked every word to remember. I still got the gist of each story well enough to answer most questions. Then I went back and listened the stories again, remembering every word, phrase, or sometimes whole sentences I didn’t understand. I enjoyed every story, and I am slowly getting a little bit bigger vocabulary. You should have at least a basic understanding of German before tackling this audiobook.
