As of this 11/'20 review, the book is 10.5 years old. While some of the hyperlinks are no longer valid, and the Tangency Portfolio's run is coming to an exhaustive end, the teachings throughout are invaluable, practical, and applicable for Everyday Joe. I highly recommend this book. This book feels more like two books bound into one: The first half applies to those who have their financial act together enough to learn/do the well taught investment basics--along with details on what & why the newer Tangency Portfolio method was currently (at time of 2010 publication) a better vehicle than the standard 60/40 Portfolio. The second half applies to everyone over the age of 15, though the book's title ("The Little Book of Bulletproof Investing") does a disservice here, since most under 40 don't feel they have enough spare money to pick up an investing guide. Truly the book's subtitle, "Do's and Don'ts to Protect Your Financial Life," expounds like a grandpa telling ya the real ways of the world. Through Do's and Don'ts sage advise (from high school through death), the authors teach how oneself is the biggest, best investment one ultimately has. The last half of this book is timeless, and should be a mandatory read in high school and college, as it sets one on a firm foundation to launch successfully into their 30's and beyond versus making dire choices impacting one negatively well into their 50's otherwise. Even the last two chapters on retirement and estate planning are spot on.

Very high level, doesn’t get into as much detail as I’d expected.
