Summary
I suppose some of us have to get really dirty before we can become truly clean.

I was allegedly South Dakota's most famous Old Lady.
Sixteen years ago I had survived my Old Man's murder.

Never again. Never again will I surrender my heart. Never again will I sacrifice to the Club.

But that all changed in one night. I came home and crashed into him, and my past and present blew up in my face. Both of us lonely, running on empty, and unwilling to admit it.

Until now. Now I feel things I'd forgotten about, want things I'd cut out of my insides.

Love not only stings when you lose it, when it's ripped away. When it first sinks its teeth into you, it can cut just as raw and sting just as deep. I'd forgotten that.

Who holds the keys to betrayal? To suspicion? To trust?
To brotherhood? To family? To redemption and a bleeding heart? Right now, I just might.

OMG. YES. THIS BOOK gave me everything. I wasn't sure what to expect since this is a story of an old lady who's old man was killed and she left the club. Now her sister needs her and she's back. But first… a little release. And the chosen partner, her husband MC brother and close friends. Holy shit .. the story kicks off with a plethora of questions that you'll want answers to. Grace has already lost a lot, including her husband. She's returning home after sixteen years because her sister is sick and needs her help. On the way home she meets Lock and has a hot night of sex. Until the next morning when she realizes he has a tattoo that matches her husband's MC. I loved how almost immediately we jump into the past, learn how she and her sister were raised and how they met the one eyed jacks MC and start to unravel what happened to make grace run. It's a constant back and forth between the past and present to help answer questions. There's a typical push and pull between Grace and Lock and let's make each other jealous. What I hated was how the club, my mostly, "Jump" the club's president used and whored her out in order to find out information. That pissed me off because it seemed like a contradiction from his they treated her and called her "little sister" but would out her in that position. What killed me were all the plot twists… man ever question was answered and the answer literally had my jaw on the floor. Things I would never have thought of. Freaking loved it.
