Unabridged Audiobook
Excellent book and reading!
I really like this series but this book is MY FAVORITE! !!! wish I had more to listen to, 50 shades of grey was nothing compared to these series. ...my workdays went by so fast while I listened to them. This narrator is my favorite! !
I have really enjoyed the entire IAD series. However Lothaire is definitely one of my favorites. I have actually listened twice. Also Robert Petkoff once again was amazing.
I really enjoyed this book, out of all the IAD books this is hands down the best one. Lothaire's story is amazing.
One of my favorite things about Kresley Cole’s Immortals After Dark series is the way she comes up with these crazy situations with no resolution. I can never foresee how the characters are going to get themselves out of their predicaments. I love it. Most books I read I can guess how it will end. Not with IAD. I know they all have a happily ever after, but how we get there is so unpredictable and fun. Also, it surprises me how she is able to endear me to unlikeable characters. Lothaire was an ass through most of the book, and still I wanted him to be happy. I kept waiting for him to redeem himself, but he never really did. He gained some understanding and insight, but I wouldn’t say he was redeemed. And still I routed for him. He’s an enemy of other characters I’ve loved and done unspeakable things to them, I shouldn’t want him to be happy. But I did. How does she do that? Amazing. I think part of my acceptance of Lothaire is Ellie. She’s truly a good person with a good heart and he would do anything to make her happy. If Ellie doesn’t want him being evil, he won’t be. I guess that makes it okay. Overall, I definitely recommend this series to readers who love paranormal books with a little steam and a lot of story.
