IT COULD HAVE BEEN A GOOD STORY BUT AT TIMES THE CHARACTERS WERE A LIL EXTRA!!!

I liked a lot about this story, especially the balance of the strong characters and the way they dealt with life, mistakes and all. However as a Brit I was confused by things like the status of school sport ( do they really televise games played by 11year olds?), where was the child safeguarding in school? what kind of life did the nanny have since she seemed to be on duty almost all the time, is that normal? At times the euphemisms in the sex scenes were a bit cringy and detracted not just from the action but more importantly from the connection between the characters. But I think this is a mature story which will stay in my memory, showing that grown up strong women can have a full rounded life despite the challenges of balancing work, family, friendship, parenting and romance.

I loved this book. The story line, with its challenges and victories was absolutely refreshing. The love scenes were vivid and tastefully written. I look forward to reading more of her in the future!
