Unabridged Audiobook
I enjoyed this murder mystery & the end twist. It echoed Agatha Christie & gave us a female Poirrot-type character (he was also ex police) but was very contemporary ie the social influencer, the blurring of male-female roles. There were a lot of characters to keep track of but they were mostly interesting. The narrator, Sophie Robert’s, had a pleasant light Scottish accent & was easy on the ear. I recommend this book & intend to read more of Alexandra Benedict’s books.
I love a good murder mystery…. This isn’t one! Was hoping the entire train would get murdered by halfway through. Felt ill-planned and messy, couldn’t remember who the characters were, nor did I care. Wish I could find something nice to say, would never pan a book for the sake of it, but really didn’t like it.
