Unabridged Audiobook
Narrator is awful. Unless, however, you're fine with completely American-accented narrators using the words "good old chap", "I'd rather fancy", etc. The writing, on the contrary, is unlike anything I've ever seen in my life. The author is a mastermind. The wording is concise, clear, well-worded (more like phenomenally worded), and is beyond compare. Perfect little bedtime 45 minute stories for if you are a person who needs a lighthearted short story to snuggle into bed to. If you need action and adventure: close the book. Do not read. It is not the book for you. As I stated before, the author is one of the most creative work-fashioners I have ever read from. I would definitely read this book!
Thought it was never going to end
The stories were charming- what’s not to love about Wodehouse? The narrator was pleasant, but he really should have been British because of the language. It sounds odd for an American to say “chappy”. Also, all of his accents sound like a cross between Italian and Spanish. I liked him though- just needs a different author.
I couldn't make it through with the butchering of English pronunciations or lack of energy. Even the authors name was mispronounced.
Please find a reader who actually knows how the pronounce English names. The writer is P G Wodehouse, pronounced Woodhouse. Chiswick is a area of London. Pronounced ‘Chisick’ It is painful to the ears to hear otherwise
Most enjoyable. Clear narration easy to listen to.
I really liked this book! Totally enjoyed listening
I had a very good time with this!
