From award-winning author Sharon Draper comes a story that will forever change how we all look at anyone with a disability, perfect for fans of RJ Palacio’s Wonder.

Eleven-year-old Melody is not like most people. She can’t walk. She can’t talk. She can’t write. All because she has cerebral palsy. But she also has a photographic memory; she can remember every detail of everything she has ever experienced. She’s the smartest kid in her whole school, but NO ONE knows it. Most people—her teachers, her doctors, her classmates—dismiss her as mentally challenged because she can’t tell them otherwise. But Melody refuses to be defined by her disability. And she’s determined to let everyone know it…somehow.

Considering Melody and her family and their day to day struggles has been an emotional journey. Listening to this moving story I have felt happiness, anger and frustration and excited as Melody explains what is going on for her.

The book was really AWSOME and it really was exciting to read and it really touched my heart and I think about stuff like that but now I actually do and I wish I could read it over again. It was one of my summer reading books and I really enjoyed it and everybody in my grade is going to be reading it and I hope they really enjoy and really think about it and I think it's really helpful to read the audiobook is reading it manually and it's really helpful to me so I just want to say thank you.
