Unabridged Audiobook
It was so disturbing, but as soemone obsessed with crime shows, I had to finish to the end. The whole thing was super twisted and crazy. The narrator was fantastic. I will never forget this story, that is for sure.
I just recently found out this was a movie, and after get a run down what it's about, I had to get this one! insane and awesome
I read it after I saw the movie just to compare and appreciate the movie more but I honestly think the book was one star better!
Super satisfying if shocking ending. Scent is very hard to describe but the author manages to take you on an olfactory journey. Very well written
I thought this was a very strange story. But the negative was it went into way too much detail about every smell that he smelled and just too much detail that wasn’t really necessary to the story . The crimes that he committed just seem like a weird afterthought.
I’ve always loved this book. The movie could never do it justice.
First I saw the 2006 movie "Perfume" because it had Alan Rickman in it. The movie is almost a perfect adaptation of the book. The concept blew me away because it has to do with sensory overload. Too many smells, too many colors, too many voices, and too many people can drive one to madness, although I doubt psychopathy. It was a devilish plot, though. I highly recommend it.
