Respect for Mr. Gordon’s knowledge and experience. The narration was difficult to listen to due to combination of monotone delivery and intense technical content when speaking of on the fly computations I’d odds for hands played.

As previously mentioned in the comments below. It is not a book for complete newbies. It’s a book for people that have played poker a few times and know the basics. If you don’t know the basics maybe going through some of the PokerStars free material would be helpful. Once you understand basic concepts and terms, this book will help you like you wouldn’t believe. I have the hard copy of the book and the audiobook. They both have very different purposes. The audiobook is great when you want to review and remember what you’ve read in the hard copy. The contents of this book are gold and I wish all books were written as well as this one
