My first and last Danielle Steel read... not a terrible story but it was kind of glossed over and boring at times. I felt like there were a lot of misogynistic themes like finding a man and having babies and ... losing baby weight? Really? Anyway. Not for me.
I haven't read a Danielle Steele in years, from what I remember this was different thatn her earlier books but a good listenjust the same!
this is a great read
Started really well then so much happened in the end.......disappointing really
Dreadful stuff, there are inconsistencies and its unbelievable and unbearable at times.
The narrators accents were dreadful especially the Irish one.
The only positive was it ended
A nice relaxing read
Danielle Steel always puts out a great read and a feel god story at the end!!
I was afraid that the book would be too soft but it exceeded my expectations. The narrator was good and I found the characters to be very real. I definitely would recommend this book. It shows how a person overcomes obstacles in life.
A feel good happy story to listen to
it was so good I just couldn't stop listening
First Danielle steel novel that I have read/listened to and im obsessed! Onto my second one now (the duchess)
Good book kept me engaged
I really enjoyed this story. I have not read her books in years, and I’ve forgotten what a great story teller she was. This was a good read.
Yeah this is a no for me. I’d rather read the books by the fake author. This was just a boring story about the person behind them. Definitely not my type of book but I guess I was engaged just boring.
Loved this storyline! Very enjoyable.
I love all her books , have trouble putting down, this book 5 Stars , will read again in a few weeks .
Narrator does a great job, tone is well done. Typical Danielle Steel store with some good twists.
very enjoyable.good pace.good storyline believable
The book is extraordinary! I was listening and I was sad when is ended.
Lt was very interesting and intriguing l love Danielle Steele
Book was fabulous: the narration was hard to hear, even with speakers; the narrator's voice undulated too low for the female parts.
