Unabridged Audiobook
An absolutely ridiculous book. The premise is unrealistic, the dialog is ludicrous...don't waste your time.
I liked this book, Ive always liked the Russian history of the Tzars. This is mostly fictional with accurate history intertwined. The main character Lord Miles is supposed to be one of the smartest people alive, yet he lacks the most basic of common sense. Some of the most obvious things happen and you wanna scream yet he doesn't even clue into it. For a smart dude he gets captured like 15 times: not very smart. But i did like the way the book unraveled.
VERY GOOD BOOK. LOTS OF ACTION. KEPT ME GOING UNTIL THE END.
Good listen, though somewhat unbelievable. Needed to remind myself this is fiction - not history.
It started slow and I was not sure I would continue but then very quickly I became hooked. Nice mixture of history woven with fiction and easy to follow. I have already gone out and purchased a paper back by Steve Berry to read on a flight. I can't wait.
An extremely interesting look into a history that Americans don't know much of. The story woven into the historical facts is captivating. I looked forward to my commutes while listening to this book.
