Unabridged Audiobook
great book !!!... ... being read by mark just adds to the rawness and realness of it ... there's is absolutely nothing glamorous about being a junkie ... on the contrary is a life of endless pain and suffering ... and he makes sure this comes across loud and clear. Loved getting a bit of insight on Kurt and Lane. Glad in the end he found himself and got to live life sober . the wold lost a great voice and a great talent ... rip ML
Absolutely incredible. I laughed, cried and couldn't get enough of Mark's stories. So intimate and touching. I bought the hardcover but couldn't wait for it to show up so I went for the audio as well, great decision. Hearing Mark's stories in his own words is priceless.
FUCKING WOW! Truly one hell of a book, truly one hell of a life. Mark Lanegan lived it 100% and kept going for more every step of the way. It is amazing he ended up living as long as he did. I for one am glad that he did, and I’m glad he straightened up just enough and for just long enough to put forth this book,
having lived this exact same life as Mark for 13 years, he told it like it is. hearing stories of his and Lane's friendship was so good. RIP old buddy!!! great book!!
One of the best, extra warts and all, rock autobiographies in years...even more of a home run as read by the man himself!
