Avi is one of my favorite writers, my middle school students have enjoyed his work for 30 years. Just listened to this with my pre teen son who enjoyed it. It was nice to be the listener rather than the reader, (have read this story at least 6 times) Angela Goethals is an excellent narrator.

I enjoyed learning a number of real facts about the American Revolution in New York City. Knowing that most of the story was fiction going into my listening, I nonetheless did not enjoy the drama and romantic parts of the story. Enjoyed the narration!
