A partial account of the Battle of Stalingrad? This book is a far cry from that claim. Glantz and House made a very in-depth research into the military history of the Battle of Stalingrad, with a very detailed explanation of Fall Blau. Neither side is potrayed as "heroic" or "evil", just how both sides confrotned each other in the bloodiest battle of human history. Now, I think that the book can get a little bit technical, and thus somewhat dificult to listen from time to time.

I found this book very German leaning the first 17 and a half hours is all about the brave German army killing the reds if I didn’t know better I would have thought the Germans won all about their feelings as they killed the Russians one guy even shed a tear as he killed a red tanker Stalingrad should be about how the Russians beat down the German barbarians but this book is about the brave German struggle and how the brave German soldiers felt
