Star Wars: The High Republic: Mission to Disaster

this is my least favourite Star Wars book from Justina Ireland. "A test of courage" is her best, "Spark of Resistance" is pretty disposable but still really enjoyable and everything tracks. Now we have to remember this is a middle-grade book, but the stakes do feel a bit weightless. There are several instances where the characters are dealing with what would logically be very pressing issues, and the characters seem more than happy to take their sweet time even though a planet might be at risk. The final resolution also feels very rushed and too easily resolved. Having said all this, I still enjoyed the book very much and am glad to have it in my collection so I can listen to it with my little cousin. Narrator did a good job too.
