A page turner to the end, while honoring and valuing the important things in life - relationships. I’ll be reading more from this author!

Good story line, but too much of the "feelings" and of Christianity.

Similar to other reviews, the story was sidetracked by religious references. I did no realize as a free choice this was a “religious” option.

storyline was good but the constant reference to Christianity was to much for. ruined the whole book for me.

I loved this author- and I want to listen to more of Dani Petery's stories! The Narration was great too! I also loved all of the Christianity in this story! Wonderful!!!

Ok story. Too much religious crap in it.

This book is more about pushing a religious ideology than telling a story. It was an ok listen but I don’t like that the description didn’t mention that fact.

This was a pretty good story. I enjoyed reading it. It gives us a scenario that things are not always the way we learn them in history. We learn historical perspectives from the winners perspective. But what if, perhaps, there are descendants of historical figures that hold secrets untold, secrets kept in diaries, even secrets worth killing for? This was an interesting read.

I enjoyed the book, it doesnt have a lot of depth but made up for it in character. I'm gonna complete the series.

Loved this book. Nice story plot, kept my interest with a very nice background plot, with true feeling’s of coming of age and all the feelings of should I or not letting others in. (Self doubt). Our natural instant. All the way weaving a web of the who done it and why (Nice change). I hope you will get pull in, like I did -read straight through the night, not wanting to miss anything. I will be following this series’. All ready starting book 2 in this series.
