Wow this narrator was so good with all the different voices and accents. The book was interesting and kept my attention. Not my normal style of book so I enjoyed it for something different. I thought the writing style was very good.

I loved this book! It took me a while to figure out that January’s family’s past is told through the book she finds in the blue chest. She reads it not understanding at first then clues in that this is the story of her father and mother. Their gift of being able to travel through doors into other worlds keeps your head spinning. But finally it all makes sense and wraps up beautifully. I have to admit that I read this book. I didn’t listen to it but I saw it got a mediocre review and I had to defend this extraordinary story. Alex Harrow is a gifted writer. I am eagerly awaiting her next book. The Ten Thousand Doors of January is going on my top shelf of favorite books.

I just couldn't get through this book. I don't think it was the narrator but sometimes an audiobook just doesn't work for me.
