Honestly one of the worst books I have read in a long time. The author is incredibly flat with very little visualization. Her characters are incredibly one dimensional and just archetypes from every other book written about high schoolers. There’s an incredible lack of creativity for a relatively unique plot. I have read endless reviews of how terrifying this book is. Although, if you’re looking for something to frighten you, skip this book as it is your run of the mill high school romance. The narrator was good but I think I am unfairly judging her due to how banal the material is.

The content kept me wanting more. the narrator's voice was perfect for it. I highly recommend this book to be listened to if only for her wonderful cadence.
