If you like listening to a lot of science jargon then this is a book for you. I struggled to get through the book only because it trails off a lot with pointless information that detracts from the storyline. The reader does a decent job but she makes the Canadian sound like a full blown hillbilly.

Yuck, had to read it because it’s a classic but I absolutely hated the narrator!

Great classic Sci-fi story, and the narrator becomes charming and compelling after getting started.

Then narrator is impossible to listen to. I had to stop after a few minutes.

Love the story! Full of adventure. At the time when this was written, it’s amazing to me the details Jules Vern has of the Nautilus. Epic. As for the narrator, she does a decent job of reading and differentiating between characters with voice changes, but lacks the ability to truly capture the characters in the voices she chooses for them.

A very complete version of the book. That being said, the narrator could be better. A female Louisiana accent not the greatest for male French.

This is a very, very slow book. Narration was reasonable, however the voice for the Canadian was grating, and felt like it would pop my ear drums.

The narrator's voice made the differation of character and emotions apparent for a story that followed four characters on an epic journey.
