Unabridged Audiobook
Excellent book, excellent narration. I was compelled to seek out the written text to dig a little deeper than just letting MacFarlane's beautifully constructed words wash over me.
Macfarlane is a delightful writer, and this is the most wildly adventurous of his novels I've read. Immersive, compelling, provocative. I think that I want to be Robert Macfarlane when I grow up. The narration is generally good but lost a star for a few mispronunciations.
Fascinating book! My only regret is that he seemed to leave his children for long periods and do a lot of dangerous things. But he is obviously also an amazing and fearless climber.
