I liked narrator’s voice but her accent didn’t work for certain characters, especially those in Colorado and Colombia

good story line and the narrator did a good job although it would be nice to have an American accent for an American story.
Really not sure. I like this type of book and it did have some section that were quite good but …… I think the action was a little over the top and very very unbelievable.

Brilliant what’s book 2
The book itself needs more detail. In my opinion there was room to give this story a real back bone, but it fell short for me. Everything was a bit too convenient, and lacked creative writing. The narrator did a good job. However, I don’t think I would have chosen a British woman to narrate a book about an American Navy Seal. She did a great job nevertheless.

Loved this book! Some listeners were bothered by her accent, however, I was not bothered at all. Actually the narrator kept my interest up by her energy! Hope to hear the next book in the Cora Shields saga.

Great plot with suspense. The Narrator did a wonderful job keeping me engaged in the story.
Main character had too many personal problems and after fixing one creates another. Gripping story where she succeeds in overcoming challenges mostly by the use of force, left me glad it was all over and with no desire to read another. The narrator was very good with the female characters, but terrible when narrating male characters.
Ready to read the next book in series
The storyline is very American with FBI, Navy Seals etc etc, so I was surprised that the narrator had an English accent. The two together just didn’t work for me.

Discovered Blake Pierce through the free books on Audiobooks. Enjoyed the story, but this character of Cora Shields is a bit too gung-ho.
Liked her inner dialogue and the fact that she is not perfect
It was like a female John wick or Jack reacher so the action bits were really unbelievable, sad because the plot is so relevant

There's definitely a lot of action in this storyline.... to the point you almost feel like you are having to run to keep up! But it was an enjoyable listen. The narrator was very good and good narration is always a plus!
