Unabridged Audiobook
I was really surprised by this book. It was such an enjoyable read. I didn't want it to end. I've done a little bit of world travel, and related well to some of the stories. It makes me want to update my passport and get back out there. The author has a great way of making even mundane life situations fun to listen to. I'm excited to see what else Charlie Wheelan has to offer.
Fun book. Quite an adventure. Made me wish had more money and more courage.
Excellent book about traveling the world with teens. Loved the dry humor and real world insight into traveling with family.
EPIC! Such a fun story, great narration. Couldn’t put it down’
Narrator cannot be endured. Story seems good, but couldn't listen to that robot for a single second longer.
Very inspiring! My husband and I enjoyed it very much.
Loved it, loved it, loved it! Great adventure and sense of humor in author throughout. Makes me want to travel again immediately!
Couldn’t get into it and tried several times
I almost abandoned this book two chapters in. It is poorly written and the narrator's voice sounds like a radio sports announcer, which I found grating. The self-congratulating author comes off as a bit pompous with a juvenile sense of humor. He spends more time writing about petty family squabbles and typical teen-parent issues than describing the places they visited. I hung in to finish the book because I knew it included the Galapagos and Australia, both places I want to visit. But, it didn't get better and I learned little about those locations. There are a couple half-decent anecdotes in the book, but they are few and far between. It was my free VIP selection and I still feel I spent too much on it. Don't waste your time on this book.
