This book was pretty hyped up so I probably set myself up for disappointment. I didn’t feel like I could become attached to any of the characters, maybe because their interactions with the main character were often clustered together. The imagery and detail was nice in the story telling and let me picture the events clearly with enough room to allow my own imagination to fill in the gaps. I enjoyed the narration but most of the male voice acting came across as sounding like little children to me, but was otherwise lovely. Ending was unexpected, but I liked it.

Narrator was awesome. Book was predictable. Narrator needs to read more books!

The narrator for this made this book thoroughly painful to get through. Would not recommend this narrator or book.

It took me awhile to get into the book, however, once I finally gave it a chance I couldn’t stop listening. A book full of twists and turns and a surprise at the end I wasn’t expecting!

Amazing, I listened to it while my family and I were on vacation at a beach house and couldn't have been a better setting.

Great narration of the book. I think this book is better geared towards a younger audience, however, I did love the twist at the end. Overall I enjoyed this book & would recommend it as I did like the moral of the story.

I don't think men were the intended audience for this book, and I would not recommended it to my straight male friends. While the conclusion was exciting, it only lasted about 20 minutes, and was preceded by 6 hours of tedious drama, bickering, and very little else going on. The naration was good, but the clever ending wasn't enough to justify the 35 chapters of monotonous drivel you had to consume to to get there. However, because this was an audiobook, I was able to listen to it while was stuck in traffic - So I didn't walk away from it feeling cheated, like I had wasted 6.5 hours of my life that could have been spent reading something better. Bless you Audiobooks.com.
