Unabridged Audiobook
good
Some compelling arguments. I see the people who disagree with his hypothesis are eager to point to the very research he disagrees with. No kidding I guess. This book is an interesting mix of personal, clinical and research experience. He also argued successfully I think about causes of the obesity epidemic in America. After trying this style of eating, I find the book to be accurate.
Fascinating. On the down side, this book reinforces the paranoia about government, big pharma and those money-hungry anybodys who will take advantage of the masses for monetary gain in spite of the consequences. I am having some trouble following the diet guidelines...wheat is in everything! However, my limited efforts have already yielded great results with weight loss and much better glucose levels. I am extremely satisfied with the content.
Take a course in biochemistry. Try an advanced human nutrition class. Read peer-reviewed research articles from many countries around the world regarding the unintended consequences of GMOs. Please don't read this book and perpetuate the misinformation.
