Unabridged Audiobook
Excellent story of love, mission, learning, tragedy and bravery. Wonderful!
Why didn't they use a real african. Even a caucasion woman who was African born would have been a better choice. This is a little girl and this woman sounds like an eighty year old woman with a bad accent. This should be re-recorded. This lady might be better reading other stories but this is not her best.
Meh. Story was good although one dimensional. Narrators fake African accent was painful.
The story was very good. The narrator was so bad, that it made it difficult to enjoy.
I had some weird issues with pausing but story was great narrator was awful. The forced accent was too much.
I love NNedi Okorafur, but the narrator's "verbal blackface" makes this book impossible to listen to. A real shame!
