Unabridged Audiobook
I was born in Minnesota. I have been reading/listening to the books with Cork O’Connor from the beginning. His family and friends have come to feel like family to me. The problem of sex trafficking with young girls in Duluth was not apparent to me before Windigo Island. I will NEVER AGAIN think of Duluth like I did before. The books of William Kent Krueger are so much more than ‚just‘ mysteries, crime, suspense… With each book/audio I learn more about a culture I was always fascinated by. Often the new knowledge saddens me.
loved it. kept me interested all through. I enjoy the native amerian story bases, not enough of their culture is shared. I'm now following the writer.
Great listen have not been disappointed yet in this series sad almost to end of it.
Slow book with rambling plot. I didn’t love it. I hear raves about this author but sorry to say he’s not for me. I find myself disliking the main character, him and his wife both cheaters and have messy emotions. Detracts from the story. Feel sorry for most of the characters. I really only enjoy the Native American aspect I’ll pass on the rest. Had a really hard time finishing this book.
Loved this book and the author. Great strory, well developed characters, good narration.
Good story line. The first time I read this author. I will read him again.

Excellent storytelling at its best. Kruegers best! I enjoy his stories. Full of layers & depth. Narrator brings it to life with great skill
