Summary
From the author of Never Never, co-written with Colleen Hoover!

#1 New York Times bestselling author Tarryn Fisher delivers a pulse-pounding, fast-paced suspense novel that will leave you breathless—an instant bestselling thriller you won’t be able to put down!

Imagine that your husband has two other wives.

You’ve never met the other wives. None of you know each other, and because of this unconventional arrangement, you can see your husband only one day a week. But you love him so much you don’t care. Or at least that’s what you’ve told yourself.

But one day, while you’re doing laundry, you find a scrap of paper in his pocket—an appointment reminder for a woman named Hannah, and you just know it’s another of the wives.

You thought you were fine with your arrangement, but you can’t help yourself: you track her down, and, under false pretenses, you strike up a friendship. Hannah has no idea who you really are. Then Hannah starts showing up to your coffee dates with telltale bruises, and you realize she’s being abused by her husband. Who, of course, is also your husband. But you’ve never known him to be violent, ever.

Who exactly is your husband, and how far would you be willing to go to find out?

And who is his mysterious third wife?

I liked this book, def was all over the place and I couldn’t tell what was really happening or if it was her crisis. So there was def some twists and turns in it. It was a pretty good book and kept me wanting to listening to see what would happen.

I did not expect the twist in this story!

I don’t want to repeat what everybody said but it had a lot of promise; It just completely went off the rails after the second half. I still gave it 3 stars because it was captivating enough and relatively well written. The twists were just cheap and could’ve been done much better.

The first half of this story was compelling and suspenseful. But the plot took a dramatic and not believable turn. This story does not hold together at all. And the author is careless with serious mental health issues. Disappointed with this book.

Very good book! Kept me on the edge of my seat. It got a little slow in the middle, but I’m glad I pushed past it. One of those books that constantly makes you think you’ve got it figured out, just to have another plot twist.

Are you serious? The ending is like saying, it was all a dream.

Best book I’ve read in months! It was suspenseful and the twists were unexpected. I couldn’t figure out what was real or not, which made me want to keep reading so I could find out. Did not expect the ending.

I wanted to love it but the ending left me disappointed

This book was challenging and needed attention. At one point, my phone accidentally sent me back a few chapters which was a blessing in disguise as I was able to catch info I missed the first time through. The narrator is unreliable quite often, which is a bit annoying - but at the same time, it kept me listening to find out what would happen next. The conclusion happens fast and I found it satisfying.

Great narrator. I wouldn’t say that I loved the last few chapter storylines but it was sufficient and an overall good read. Narrator was great.

Like others have said in the reviews, I feel like turning this into a psychological thriller and having the narrator completely misremember things is a copout and makes the reader feel cheated at the end of the book. Only giving two stars because it was entertaining until the end.

I did not think I would really read past the first chapter. Then it got more interesting and I actually really liked the entire book! the narrators voice made for easy listening, she is great! I absolutely recommend this audio book!

Definitely a psychological thriller - messed with my mind from start to finish! Lots of twists and turns and strange characters. You think you know how it's going to end, but you're wrong.

The book was excellent. Totally didn’t see the plot twist coming. Also the narrator has a lot of range which helps keep up the suspense!

This book was really entertaining and well written. There were a lot of twists and turns but the ending was not my favorite. Everyone is different so maybe someone will love the end. Enjoyed listening to this book and would recommend.

At first, I liked the storyline very much but soon lost interest. The story was all over the place and really far fetched. I didn’t like anyone very much except maybe Lauren.

Great story with multiple twists. Had me guessing all the way to the end! But the narrators voice was awful and very childlike and fast. Made it hard to listen sometimes.

Easy listen. Kept me fussing. Didn’t like ending at all!

Yet another damaged, unreliable female narrator. I guess it's okay if you like that sort of thing and don't require much depth. It is well-written and the reader as an engaging way.

I wanted to quit this book from the start. Bounced around in a bizarre way. The author over explains in detail about inanimate objects which distract the listener from the subject It’s probably not a seasoned writer or I’m just thinking it needs to be a lot better written cuz by The end of the book I didn’t care who died or lived or got murdered, or anything!! I just wanted it to end
