Unabridged Audiobook
I’m a huge Gab Union fan, and enjoyed this book but feel that her first book is better. The first book feels more like a chronological structure and the anecdotes are all tied together and tied to her history, whereas this book was a little more all over the place jumping from Surrogacy to Bring It On, to her trans daughter, to blackface. I enjoyed her voice as the reader but she is quite animated and emphatic which may not be everyone’s preference in audiobooks.
Beautiful portray of Gabs life…
She's an amazing storyteller and I heard so many things about myself reflected back to me. Superbly skilled at balancing lightheartedness and laughter while diving into deep topics. Loved it!
One of the best books I’ve listened to in a long time… Def just became one of favorite books in my library…
