Unabridged Audiobook
I highly recommend this book.
Boring and not useful at all. Use common sense in your work life and you’ll be a step ahead of the tips outlined in this book.
I thought this would be techy, and it was. There were points where I got lost in the detail, but then there were several times where I had to pull over (I mainly listen in the car), rewind and make notes. I’ve started some research into automations from that. I also spoke up in a meeting, insisting to my manager that the new process she was describing *had* to be automated; we could not add another manual backwards process in. Said I’d been listening to this book. Our admin assistant was grateful for not being lumped with busywork. Automating our (ridiculously high) meeting numbers is also on my list because of this book. I know other people have that, but this is one of the things I would not have pursued unless I had listened to this book. I’ve found this very useful. I also enjoyed the author’s odd bits of humour thrown in
