Unabridged Audiobook
A very informative book from a very intelligent and brave women.
This book gives enlightening details of reality of radical islam. It cites countless examples of hatred by Islam extremists and how it can change a peaceful culture. It opened my eyes to the constant wars with Israel and the rest of the Arab nations. Must read or listen.
Every Christian and Every American should hear this one.
While there is no doubting her terrible experiences at the hands of militant Islam, her biases, usually towards Israel, taint her credibility. It's as if everything Israeli is perfect in some passages of the book. It makes her conclusions a bit hard to swallow. Does that make her book worthless? Certainly not. If we fail to confront militant Islam, we do so at our own peril.
Theres not enough media coverage of the suffering at the hands of extremist which continues today.
Reader 1 said it best. It should be required reading. Our media doesn't report 90% of what is in this book. I always said there has to be more behind this war than oil. I may not agree with what Bush is doing in Washington but this book does confirm there is more going on than is reported to the masses. This book is a buy. I did check the reviews of this book on amazon.com reading the 1 star reviews. Is Brigitte Gabriel a wild right-winger or are these reviewers working hard at keeping Americans quiet and distracted? Wake up Americans, lets think back just a few weeks ago that we passed a law that allowed footbaths for the Muslims at colleges. My feet get dirty too, can I use these baths? If I have my information I paid for these through my taxes.
This should be required reading for all Americans, particularly our politicians. I have had limited study of Islam, but this book really brings home the overarching mindset of the radicals within that religion and underscores their hatred of Americans and others who do not practice their Islamic faith. We, as a country, can not ignore the danger that these terriorists put us in, nor the contempt that they hold for all members of the non-Muslim world. From the personal experience of the author, it is clear that she has suffered tremendously and is very courageous for speaking out. If I could have given 4 1/2 stars I would have as some of the text is a bit tedious; however, over all the message is strong, well written, historical information is provided in a concise and interesting way, and the book contains practical advise for all. Highly recommended.
