Unabridged Audiobook
Gripping drama couched in real historic events! Narrator very effective! Highly recommend! E. Longmire
Love the story, add a beautiful locale, a dash of French history, a glug of fine wine, seasoned with local cuisine, then blend in a charming Fre nch policeman and you have a recipe for a fascinating novel. The narrator is excellent. and brings the story to life.
Entertaining story, love the historical bits, the culinary bits, the friendships. Captivated by Robert Ian Mackenzie’s narration.
The story was interesting - but I have to say the British accent on the narrator was distracting. A book set in France, read by a British narrator and listened to by an American - affreux!
it was ok, a bit slow at times. I will listen to the second book though and give it another shot.
A wonderful feeling for a small village in France conveyed. A very enjoyable listen. I will certainly be listening to all titles in the bookclub.
Very enjoyable listen! Enjoyed the French setting, murder mystery, intrigue and a little romance thrown in. Easy listing for a Covid Walk!
A wonderful tale of people having to make difficult decisions that we all face in our own lives. Well drawn characters and so believable.
