Like it have done a couple more of the author and characters do like series I guess if you do a book a day as long as I’m not looking for new books in the first hour it’s ok

the story starts out interesting but soon becomes predictable. The writing occasionally comes across as lazy, with frequently repeated descriptive words (of all words, why was "twittering" used thrice in a single chapter - a thesaurus would give plenty of acceptable alternatives). the narrator often comes across as cartoony when doing voices for characters which can really throw you out of the mood

Well it is not detective story as I would expect. It is more about feelings of mother/detective. Usualy detective from book makes smart move usualy not according rules in order to crack the case. Here detective generally does nothing or mess thing up but certainly you will know how she feels about it. Nararator is good except parts where she tries to speak deep mens voice. It sounds a bit ridiculous but I made my peace with it.

just a stupid woman book. Needs to make them smart

Seems like this author changes settings but plot lines remain very similar. I’ve lost interest.
