Unabridged Audiobook
The book takes you all over the world, from Hong Kong to Dubai and other lesser known political spaces like late-apartheid South Africa’s “homelands” to build a coherent alternative narrative for the history of the past half-century -one that focuses on rising divisions and fragmentation instead of the unifying force of globalization. In a world where Peter Thiel and other key leaders on America’s right explicitly brand themselves as libertarians, this book more than welcome. The book is relatively short, so the tour can seem cursory, but it also makes it accessible and digestible.
